Northern Waterthrush

Winter ecology

At mangrove sites in Puerto Rico I studied the non-breeding ecology of northern waterthrush.  We found that habitat quality varies greatly across habitats and is influenced by the tropical dry season.  These habitat differences affected patterns of space use and the physical condition of birds.
